Job Responsibilities / Job Description: The incumbent would be required to do the following:- 1. Receipt of form 1 and tallying the same with hard copy of the IGM. 2. Manual punching of IGM details in POMS system of KoPT. 3. Debiting of port charges at collection as per the advice of the Shipping Line 4. Setting of individual money receipt with each form-1 and get the same verified by Port official. 5. Filing and stamping of Form-1 in hard copy of IGM after verification by port representative. 6. Physically checking of landed containers with POMS. 7. Collection of shed delivery order no. once all the form 1 details are entered and accepted by POMS. 8. Preparation of EGP papers 9. Preparation of Form 2 basis Form 1 10. Verification of shipping line seal, putting customs seal in the container and getting endorsement in the form-1 & form-2. 11. Shed delivery formalities after punching equipment use for loading of containers with the help of port shed writer. 12. Maintenance of job related registers/MIS. Perform any other task that may be assigned from time to time.
